Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
Excellent phlebotomy skills
Ability to set priorities, multi-task and be detail oriented
Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with patients, staff, physician offices, etc
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
Good typing skills
Position may require rotating to other VMG locations from time to time when necessary
Schedule: Mon-Fri as early 7:30am, as late as 7pm
Responsibilities
To perform phlebotomy on In Office patients
To register, order tests, perform medical necessity, and process specimens provide customer service through initiation and/or response to provider and patient inquiries via phone, fax, or printer regarding test status, results or specimen requirements
