Job Summary:
EKG technicians are responsible for doing electrocardiograms on both inpatients and outpatients scheduled within the department.
Their duties also include editing and forwarding final test outcomes to Muse, the EKG management system for attending physician to analyze and interpret data.
EKG Technicians keep equipment in good working order and checks the quality of recorded data. They may also cover the front desk when needed.
They must consider the physical and physiological needs of every patient, and develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations with other department personnel.
This is a day position that will include weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Hours range from 6:30am until 5pm depending on the coverage that is needed.
Job Requirements:
High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Completion of EKG Technician Certification Course/Program.
EKG experience preferred.
