Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
Patient Care Technician works alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting by improving patient satisfaction by influencing patient throughput.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Minimum 6 months in an acute care hospital setting
Prior experience in performing EKG and phlebotomy procedures
Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
Preferred Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Patient care or EKG and phlebotomy certificate
Cardiac Credentialing International Certification
