Description

This position requires someone that has experience with Pediatric Insurance claims and billing.

Must have extensive knowledge of different types of coverage and policies. It is important that this person has the ability to multitask, detail oriented and organized to maintain accurate patients insurance records and claim submission. Our new team member must work well with others as you will work as part of a health team that strives to provide patients with the best customer service and care possible.

Skills Required

• Strong work ethics, communication skills, organized and able to multitask

• Knowledge of Medical Billing/Coding

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology

• Checking Daily Balances

• Properly analyze notes and coding for claims submission

• Answer questions from patients, office staff and insurance companies

• Experience working with insurance companies and has extensive knowledge of different types of coverage and policies.

• Proficient in insurance verification/ Eligibility process using on-line techniques

• Must be will and able to cross train in multiple areas and perform all other duties as assigned and needed

• Uphold confidentiality regarding protected health information and adhere to HIPPA regulations
