We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management, particularly within a podiatry clinic or managed care environment. This role requires excellent organizational skills, financial management capabilities, and proficiency in medical records systems. The Medical Office Manager will ensure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional service to our patients.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and collections to optimize office workflow.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care, particularly in critical care settings.
Implement and maintain office systems to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance overall experience.
Experience
Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role within a dental clinic or managed care setting is essential.
Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management practices relevant to healthcare operations.
Familiarity with medical records systems such as Healthfusion is preferred, however not required.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, patients, and healthcare providers.
Knowledge of critical care protocols is an advantage.
