Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
Provide personalized in-home assistance to clients based on their individual care plans
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Support clients with mobility issues and help them move around their homes safely
Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Monitor and record vital signs and health status
Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
Handle medical records accurately and securely
Skills
Experience in patient care and caregiving
Ability to lift and move clients safely
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Familiarity with dementia care and hospice care practices
Proficiency in medication administration and catheter care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients
Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
CPR certification is preferred but not required
