Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Training Instructor who combines technical expertise with a compassionate teaching style. The ideal candidate will be able to instruct across multiple healthcare disciplines, including Phlebotomy, EKG, and Medical Billing, while fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide engaging instruction to students in assigned medical training courses
Monitor student progress, attendance, and classroom behavior to maintain a productive learning environment
Develop fair and effective assessment methods to measure student mastery of course objectives
Prepare and deliver a complete course syllabus and lesson plans
Grade assignments and return feedback promptly to encourage learning
Offer tutoring and academic counseling as needed
Follow K&G Career Academy’s instructional policies and procedures
Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse student needs and circumstances
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Medical Assistant or related field
National Certification in Medical Assisting or EKG Technician
Teaching certification required
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Bilingual in Spanish or Creole preferred (not required)
Ability to teach multiple courses offered by the academy
Motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented
