Benefits

Responsibilities


  • In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and other specimen collection procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety

  • You will work closely with patients, laboratory staff, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality service and accurate specimen processing

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood specimens from patients

  • Ensure proper identification of patients and specimens to maintain accuracy in testing

  • Process specimens according to established laboratory procedures, including labeling and handling

  • Maintain aseptic technique during all specimen collection procedures to prevent contamination

  • Monitor and record vital signs as necessary before and after blood collection

  • Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and ensuring a comfortable experience

  • Adhere to safety protocols and laboratory regulations to maintain a safe working environment

  • Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for use
