EKG Tech Instructor - FT/PT/Per Diem - Elizabeth, NJ
K&G Career Academy is looking for a dedicated and experienced EKG Instructor to join our team. Responsibilities include:
Instruction & Curriculum: Prepare, deliver, and teach a complete course syllabus that meets academy standards.
Student Success: Actively engage with students to support their academic progress. Provide tutoring and academic counseling as needed.
Evaluation: Develop and apply fair, consistent methods to measure student progress. Evaluate performance promptly to maximize learning outcomes.
Classroom Management: Create a supportive, respectful classroom environment. Monitor attendance, punctuality, and overall academic behavior.
Compliance: Follow all approved instructional policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or EKG Technician.
Certification: National Certification as a Medical Assistant or EKG Technician (required).
Teaching Credential: Teaching Certification (required).
Skills: Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus: Proficiency in Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) is a plus, but not required.
What We Offer:
$20 - $25 per hour
Per Diem/PT -30hrs per week, 1099 Contractor
