Job Requirements
Monday to Friday availability from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm according to physician's schedule
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Certified medical assistant preferred
Experienced EKG technician preferred
Proficiency in computer skills including EHR, Word, Excel, Outlook
Job Qualifications

Proficient in electronic health records (EHR)
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
Place patients in the exam room according to protocol
Check height, weight, vitals and perform EKG
Restock exam rooms, sample closet and physician workstations
Review records for accuracy
Maintain appropriate chart documentation
Identify operational delays and report to the manager and/or supervisor
Report equipment issues to the manager and/or supervisor
Review and stay up to date on position reference material which outlines all responsibilities
Perform opening and/or closing duties
Assist with other office support duties as directed by the manager and/or supervisor
Check in patients including collecting copays, referrals, scanning insurance cards, driver’s license, prescriptions, scheduling, rescheduling, and answering phone calls
Check out patients including scheduling appointments, providing patient instructions, medication printouts, instruction printouts, and scripts for outside testing
