Responsibilities
As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for traveling to various locations such as patients' homes, doctors' offices, nursing homes, and laboratories to collect blood samples
Your role involves ensuring the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and delivery of blood samples for testing
This position requires the flexibility to work variable hours, including mornings and weekdays, to accommodate patient schedules and sample collection needs
Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples from patients
Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, and processing
Provide excellent patient care and service during the phlebotomy process
Utilize medical terminology and physiology knowledge to accurately perform duties
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with patients and healthcare staff
Utilize organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage a busy schedule effectively
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Drive to various locations to perform phlebotomy services, requiring a valid driver's license
Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure efficient processing of specimens
Utilize clinical laboratory experience to enhance the quality of services provided
