Course Description and Details

Did you know that you have the opportunity to enroll in a Certified Nurse Aide course virtually free of charge? In New Jersey, employers are mandated by law to provide tuition reimbursement for working Certified Nursing Assistants. Essentially, whatever you invest upfront, you'll recoup within a year.

Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) hold one of the most in-demand positions in the medical sector. It's important to note that the long-term care facilities that employ CNAs are closely regulated by both the Division of Consumer Affairs and the Department of Health.

Certified Nursing Assistants may be referred to by various titles such as Certified Nurse Aide, Nursing Attendants, or simply CNAs. A CNA, employed by a long-term care facility, works under the supervision of a registered professional nurse, adhering to a delegated nursing regimen and performing assigned tasks.

Among the responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant are assisting multiple patients, procuring medical supplies, providing bathing and grooming assistance, aiding in feeding, maintaining documentation, responding to patient calls, and monitoring vital signs.
