Course Description and Details

The Phlebotomy Technician program spans three weeks, encompassing a total of 80 hours of training, by the State of New Jersey's requirements. Our training approach is entirely in-classroom, providing students with hands-on experience in blood drawing under the guidance of an approved instructor certified by the New Jersey Board of Education

Requirements:

 

To work as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician in New Jersey, you must meet the following:

  • Complete a Phlebotomy Technician training course that is approved by the Department of Education and Work Force Development in New Jersey.

  • Complete a competency evaluation that requires 40 live sticks.

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • The National Certification Exam is available.
