Job Duties

Maintains and cleans equipment checking that equipment is working properly; reports problems to supervisor.Performs routine EKGs on assigned nursing units and responds to stat requests as necessary.Assures EKG tracings are appropriately labeled and checks quality of tracing before giving to cardiologist for interpretation.Inspects the phlebotomy cart for expiration, and adequate supply and also fills in the daily inspection checklist before using the cart at the beginning or whenever the cart is used the first time in that shift.Assures proper patient identification by checking the patient’s ID wristband with the…
